포베다 (Pobeda 7,439m)

1936년 칸텐그리 원정대는 정상 등정 중 칸텐그리 보다 더 높은 산을 발견하였는데, 이 산이 바로 포베다였다.1938년 레타비트 교수 일행이 도전하였으나 6930m 도달 후 극도로 탈진하고 동상에 걸려 포기하게 되었다. 그 후 1943년 지질 조사에서 이 산의 높이가 7439m로 설정되었으며 여러 팀이 도전하였으나 계속 실패하고 1956년에야 비탈리 아바라코프에 의해 등정되었다. 중국측으로는 1977년 등정하였으며 현재 8개의 루트가 있다. 힘겹게 6900m에 오르면 10km 의 능선을 더 가야 정상에 가까이 갈 수 있다는 것과 험악한 날씨가 등반을 어렵게 한다.
키르키즈 공화국과 중국 신강 위구르 자치구와의 경계에 있으며 천산산맥의 최고봉이다.

많은 캠프를 설치해야 하고 루트를 찾기 어려우며 악천후시 폭설이 내린다.
